UGH..TAXES
Since I have been contracting almost 9 months of this year, I put aside money to pay taxes in April. I met with my financial advisor last Friday and discovered how much I potentially owe. And, it's alot more than I expected. I wasn't aware of the Self-Employment tax. I knew about the social security and medicare stuff but the other one? I should have asked about something like this sooner. Knowing what I have to pay is stressing me out. I can adjust my income to get me in a lower tax bracket but that doesn't affect the SE tax, SSI and Medicare.
