SILENT SACRIFICES
I read this briefly off the NAATA website today. It's pretty interesting because I didn't know there is a movie like this. With lots of "misunderstandings" being the topic of some of my conversations this past summer, this documentary sounds like something worth seeing.

"Silent Sacrifices delves into the cultural conflicts Filipino immigrants and their American-born children encounter on a daily basis. Frank discussions among teens, young adults, and their parents reveal how issues of ethnic identity and opposing Filipino and American values contribute to youths' bouts with depression, parenting difficulties, and inter-generational misunderstandings."
